About the role

Hilton is hiring a Hostess for its Karma By Buddha Bar restaurant in Ras Al Khaimah. The role welcomes guests, manages seating and reservations and delivers a warm, professional first impression of the dining experience.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome and greet guests on arrival and manage reception and seating efficiently.
• Escort guests to their tables, provide menus and keep the dining area well presented.
• Manage reservations, walk-ins, waiting lists and seating arrangements.
• Answer questions about menus, facilities, promotions and opening hours.
• Coordinate with the Restaurant Manager, service team, kitchen and other departments, and monitor table availability during busy periods.
• Maintain accurate reservation records and share special requests or VIP arrangements with the team.
• Handle guest feedback and escalate issues to the supervisor or manager when needed.
• Keep the entrance, hostess desk, waiting area and surroundings clean and tidy.
• Recognise repeat guests, VIPs and guests celebrating special occasions, and support the service team with menus, beverages and basic needs.
• Follow hotel and brand standards, grooming requirements, health and safety procedures and service guidelines.
