Hotel Runner – Guest Services

About the role

The Runner supports seamless hotel operations by delivering items to guest rooms and assisting multiple departments such as housekeeping, engineering, banquets, and the front office. This full‑time, on‑site role ensures guests receive timely service and associates have the resources they need.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver guest amenities, linens, and other items directly to rooms.
• Provide logistical support to housekeeping, engineering, food & beverage, and other hotel areas.
• Transport supplies, equipment, and documents across the property, navigating stairs, service ramps, and confined spaces.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries and verify information visually.
• Uphold safety standards, company policies, and confidentiality at all times.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• No prior experience required; on‑the‑job training provided.
• Ability to stand, walk, and move for extended periods.
• Physical capacity to lift, carry, push, or pull objects up to 55 lb without assistance.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts in a fast‑paced hospitality environment.

Required skills

• Ability to read and interpret small‑print information.
• Good visual inspection skills for tools and equipment.
• Effective communication and professional appearance.
