Housekeeping Attendant

About the role

The Housekeeping Attendant ensures guest rooms and public areas are clean, tidy, and well‑stocked, following hotel standards and supervisor guidance. This role contributes directly to guest satisfaction by maintaining a safe and welcoming environment.

Key responsibilities

• Collect keys and daily assignments, prepare trolley and equipment for efficient work.
• Clean and replenish guest rooms and bathrooms according to the hotel’s Standards of Performance.
• Arrange and tidy guest belongings while cleaning.
• Coordinate with Valet Service for guest laundry, dry‑cleaning, or pressing.
• Maintain cleanliness of corridors, service pantries, and service areas.
• Report maintenance issues to the Engineering Department.
• Consider guest needs in public areas and rooms, ensuring courteous service.
• Uphold environmental, health, and safety standards in line with hotel policies.

Required profile

• Ability to follow supervisors’ instructions and hotel procedures.
• Attention to detail and commitment to high cleanliness standards.
• Guest‑focused attitude with respect for guest privacy and belongings.
