Housekeeping Team Leader

About the role

The Housekeeping Team Leader will oversee daily housekeeping operations at Hyatt Centric Jumeirah Dubai, ensuring guest rooms and public areas meet the brand’s high standards of cleanliness and service. Reporting to the Housekeeping Manager, the role combines supervision, quality control, and guest‑service coordination in a fast‑paced luxury hotel environment.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of Room Attendants and Housekeeping Attendants.
• Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, corridors, public areas and back‑of‑house spaces to verify compliance with Hyatt standards.
• Monitor room status, update the Front Office on availability and respond to guest requests promptly.
• Assign daily tasks and schedules based on occupancy and operational needs.
• Manage the proper use, storage and control of cleaning equipment, chemicals, linens and guest supplies.
• Report maintenance issues and safety hazards identified during inspections.
• Support inventory management, linen control and stock replenishment processes.
• Assist the Housekeeping Manager and Assistant Manager with projects, performance monitoring and continuous‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Diploma or equivalent qualification in Hospitality Management or related field (preferred).
• Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience in hotel housekeeping, preferably within an international brand.
• Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to high cleanliness standards.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
• Proficiency in English; additional languages are a plus.

Required skills

• Familiarity with hotel property management systems.
• Experience using housekeeping software.
