Housekeeping Team Leader

About the role

Jumeirah Emirates Towers, a luxury hotel in the heart of Dubai's business district, is looking for a Housekeeping Team Leader. The role works closely with the front office and engineering teams to keep rooms ready for guests and maintain high housekeeping standards.

Key responsibilities

• Liaise with the front office so that allocated rooms are ready before guest arrival
• Keep track of room status to maximise the number of vacant rooms available for sale
• Work with the engineering department on room maintenance and faults
• Check VIP rooms before arrival and then daily during the stay to maintain the required standard
• Ensure pantries are stocked with linen, guest supplies and cleaning supplies according to par stock
• Assist in training housekeeping staff in line with the SOP manual

Required profile

• Higher secondary education
• Fluency in English
• Preferably 5-star hotel experience
• Minimum 2 years of Housekeeping Team Leader experience

Required skills

• Technical knowledge of handling equipment and chemicals
• Experience with the hotel system Opera
