Housing Officer

About the role

The Housing Officer will manage employee accommodation at SLS Dubai Hotel & Residences, ensuring safe, comfortable living spaces and compliance with local regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Assign suitable accommodation to employees based on needs, preferences and availability.
• Conduct regular property inspections, arrange repairs, and maintain cleanliness and safety standards.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for employee housing inquiries and support.
• Manage utilities invoices and other accommodation‑related expenses.
• Implement and enforce Housing Rules, Overnight Stay Policy, Pets Policy and relevant legal requirements.
• Coordinate with Housekeeping, Engineering, Security and Building Management to ensure seamless service.
• Oversee colleague bus transportation between accommodation and hotel.
• Ensure fire safety compliance, including clear exits, regular equipment testing and fire drills.

Required profile

• Understanding of local housing laws, regulations and standards.
• Experience in managing accommodation facilities, maintenance and cleanliness.
• Strong communication skills for liaising with employees, management and external stakeholders.
• Ability to handle conflicts or disputes related to housing allocations diplomatically.
• Knowledge of budgeting principles and expense management.
• Attention to detail in record‑keeping and inventory management.
• Awareness of cultural differences and ability to accommodate diverse employee needs.
