HPE POD Business Development Manager

About the role

Hewlett Packard Enterprise is hiring for a Hybrid role in Dubai to develop and grow its Modular Data Center (POD) and AI infrastructure business. The position leads business development with external customers, strategic partners and internal sales teams, covering opportunities for HPC, AI infrastructure, cloud services and enterprise workloads. On average 2 days per week are spent in an HPE office.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, qualify and convert opportunities for modular data center deployments such as AI factory infrastructure, HPC clusters, GPU environments and edge data centers.
• Act as a trusted advisor to customer executives and decision makers, aligning the POD portfolio with their business outcomes and technical requirements.
• Lead engagements to understand requirements for large-scale deployments and translate them into POD-based solutions.
• Work with account teams, solution architects and partners to build proposals covering architecture, modular facility design and lifecycle services.
• Support major proposals and RFP responses, including technical positioning, commercial structuring and value articulation.
• Coordinate engineering, supply chain, manufacturing partners and delivery teams to keep solutions feasible and on schedule.
• Maintain relationships with ecosystem partners such as cooling technology providers, modular construction manufacturers and integrators.
• Provide market intelligence and customer feedback to influence the evolution of the HPE POD portfolio.
• Represent HPE at customer engagements, industry forums and conferences, and contribute to pipeline growth and revenue.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related technical field, or equivalent industry experience.
• Typically 8+ years of experience in data center infrastructure, HPC environments or modular infrastructure.
• Experience in business development, solution sales or infrastructure consulting within the data center industry.
• Experience engaging senior technical and executive stakeholders and supporting complex, multi-stakeholder deals.

Required skills

• Understanding of modular data centers, high-density GPU and HPC environments, liquid cooling and AI infrastructure.
• Ability to structure large infrastructure deals and navigate enterprise procurement.
• Strong communication skills and ability to present solutions to senior leadership.
• Experience leading cross-functional collaboration across sales, engineering, supply chain and delivery.
