HPV Guide Design & Publication Consultant (Agency)

About the role

We are seeking a creative design agency or consultant to transform complex public‑health and immunisation resources into engaging, accessible, publication‑ready materials. The consultancy will develop a suite of HPV technical guidelines for global health professionals, programme implementers and decision‑makers, ensuring the content is clear, visually appealing and usable across both digital and print formats.

Key responsibilities

• Design and format nine HPV technical guidelines into professional print and digital publications with clear visual hierarchy and navigation.
• Develop a unified design system covering typography, templates, colour usage, iconography, illustrations and formatting standards.
• Provide editorial support to improve clarity, consistency, readability and accessibility.
• Create visual assets such as infographics, diagrams, process flows and visual storytelling elements to translate complex concepts.
• Produce a comprehensive summary guideline highlighting key insights and action points.
• Collaborate with programme and technical stakeholders through review cycles and incorporate feedback.
• Deliver editable source files, publication‑ready PDFs, digital‑optimised versions and supporting design documentation for future use.

Required profile

• 7‑10+ years of experience in publication design, creative communications or editorial design.
• Proven track record delivering multi‑document design projects or large‑scale publication suites.
• Strong ability to transform technical content into clear, engaging visual formats.
• Experience working with public‑health or global‑health audiences is a plus.
