HR Intern

About the role

Egis, a global firm in architecture, consulting, construction engineering, operations and mobility services, is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented HR Intern to join its Human Resources team in Dubai, UAE. The internship gives hands-on experience in HR operations while supporting the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with employee administration, including updating employee records in databases and filing HR documents
• Support the onboarding of new hires so they can integrate smoothly
• Maintain HR files and help prepare reports and presentations
• Help plan and organize employee engagement events, training sessions and special HR initiatives
• Answer basic employee questions about HR policies and procedures
• Provide general administrative support to the HR team and collaborate on HR projects
• Contribute to improving HR processes and procedures

Required profile

• Currently pursuing or having completed a degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration or a related field
• Fluent English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus
• Ability to work independently and in a team, with strong interpersonal and customer-oriented skills
• Ability to multitask, prioritize and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Eagerness to learn and grow in HR

Required skills

• Microsoft Office Suite, with strong skills in Word, Excel (including V-Lookup) and PowerPoint
• Excellent organizational and administrative skills and attention to detail
• Strong written and verbal communication
• Basic understanding of HR practices and policies
• Confidentiality and discretion with sensitive information
