HR Specialist – HRIS & Payroll

About the role

The HR Specialist – HRIS & Payroll ensures the integrity, accuracy, and effectiveness of the Human Resources Information System while supporting payroll operations. Acting as the HR system subject‑matter expert, you will maintain employee data, manage system enhancements, and serve as the designated payroll backup.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain employee master data in SAP HCM/SuccessFactors, ensuring accuracy, integrity and completeness.
• Perform bulk uploads, mass data updates, and regular system maintenance activities.
• Conduct data quality audits, identify issues and recommend system enhancements.
• Coordinate with IT, SAP consultants and vendors on configurations, testing and issue resolution.
• Support HR system implementations, upgrades, integrations and new functionality.
• Prepare HR system reports, dashboards and data analytics as required.
• Develop and maintain HRIS documentation, user guides and SOPs.
• Provide system training and support to HR users.
• Act as backup for payroll processing, validating inputs, reconciling payroll and processing End‑of‑Service Benefits.
• Respond to employee payroll and pension queries and assist with audits and statutory reporting.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration or related discipline.
• 4–6 years of experience in HRIS, payroll or HR operations.
• Hands‑on experience with SAP HCM/SuccessFactors or similar HRIS platforms.
• Proven experience leading SAP implementations for HR.
