HR Specialist

About the role

Arla is looking for a dynamic, results‑driven HR Specialist to join its UAE office in Jebel Ali. Reporting to the HR Manager, you will support core HR processes, talent initiatives and employee experience across the region.

Key responsibilities

• Manage recruitment for frontline positions, including interview scheduling, shortlisting and coordination.
• Liaise with PROs to ensure timely visa and work‑permit processing.
• Maintain accurate employee data in the HR information system.
• Address disciplinary matters in line with company policies.
• Oversee the full employee exit process, from resignations to terminations.
• Plan and execute the annual employee satisfaction survey.
• Administer life and health insurance programs in collaboration with brokers.
• Coordinate employee engagement events and manage the yearly calendar.
• Ensure employee housing and depot office standards meet Arla policies.
• Facilitate training sessions on HR‑related topics.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology or a related field.
• Minimum 2 + years of HR experience, preferably as a generalist or in HR operations.
• Proven full‑cycle recruitment experience.
• Hands‑on experience with payroll inputs, leave administration, employee records and insurance processes.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills in English.
• Attention to detail, confidentiality and knowledge of HR reporting.
• Knowledge of UAE Labour Law is an advantage.
• Proactive, collaborative mindset with the ability to take ownership.
