About the role
The HSE Officer will support the implementation and continuous improvement of health, safety and environment processes for projects in Abu Dhabi, ensuring compliance with company standards and local regulations.
Key responsibilities
- Ensure awareness and effective implementation of the HSE system across projects.
- Identify training needs, conduct HSE training and monitor PPE issuance and condition.
- Investigate incidents, accidents and hazards, produce reports and follow up on corrective actions.
- Maintain the department HSE register, record incidents and support project managers in achieving HSE targets.
Required profile
- Diploma or equivalent with minimum NEBOSH, OSHA or similar HSE awareness training.
- First aid, emergency response and fire‑fighting certifications.
- Minimum two years of experience in a safety role.
- Strong English communication and presentation skills.
Required skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.
- NEBOSH or OSHA certification.
- First aid, emergency response and fire‑fighting training.
