HSE Officer

About the role

Leverage General Contracting L.L.C is looking for a full-time HSE Officer to support its project operations in Abu Dhabi. The role enforces health, safety and environmental protocols across active construction sites while keeping strict compliance with UAE statutory standards and company policies.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct daily site walk-throughs, routine safety inspections and hazard identification sweeps
• Perform risk evaluations and implement ADOSH-SF Version 4.0 requirements and client-mandated safety frameworks
• Lead safety inductions, toolbox talks and safety training programmes
• Investigate accidents, injuries and near misses, and develop corrective and preventive action plans
• Enforce corporate HSE manuals, safety regulations and local Abu Dhabi occupational health standards

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or recognised 3-year diploma in a relevant technical or scientific discipline
• Mandatory NEBOSH IGC certification
• Minimum 2 years of verifiable HSE experience in the UAE construction sector
• OSHAD / Quadrat registration and expertise in ADOSH-SF Version 4.0 standards
