About the role
A long-term contract HSE Officer position in Dubai, UAE, within the lubrication industry. The role covers health, safety and environmental compliance across plant operations.
Key responsibilities
- Implement and monitor HSE policies, procedures and practices across plant operations.
- Carry out regular workplace inspections, risk assessments, toolbox talks and safety audits.
- Ensure compliance with UAE HSE regulations and relevant environmental and occupational safety standards.
- Investigate incidents, identify root causes and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Maintain HSE records, reports, permits and documentation, and support emergency preparedness activities.
Required profile
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety or a related field.
- NEBOSH IGC certification is mandatory; additional UAE/Dubai HSE certifications are an advantage.
- Minimum 3-7 years of HSE experience in the lubrication, chemical, oil & gas, manufacturing or similar industrial environment.
