HSEW Manager – Site Supervision

About the role

The HSEW Manager leads health, safety and environmental management for large‑scale road and infrastructure projects in the United Arab Emirates. You will develop, implement and maintain the project HSE Management System while fostering a zero‑incident culture across all site zones.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and continuously improve the HSE Management System for the project.
• Lead and coordinate safety teams, inspectors and officers across all site areas.
• Conduct HSE audits, inspections, hazard assessments and risk evaluations.
• Approve risk assessments, method statements and emergency response plans.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations, OSHA standards and ISO 45001.
• Lead incident investigations, perform root‑cause analysis and drive corrective/preventive actions.
• Deliver HSE orientation, training programmes and competency evaluations.
• Report KPIs, safety statistics and produce monthly HSE dashboards.
• Collaborate with authorities, consultants, contractors and other stakeholders to maintain safety compliance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Safety or Environmental Sciences.
• 10–15 years of HSE experience on infrastructure projects, including at least 5 years in a managerial role.
• NEBOSH Diploma/IGC, OSHA or ISO 45001 Lead Auditor certifications preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication and risk‑management capabilities.
