HVAC Spare Parts Maintenance Engineer

About the role

An HVAC Spare Parts Maintenance Engineer is required by a client, an Oil and Gas Contractor, to be assigned on a contract basis in Abu Dhabi, UAE. The position starts as soon as possible and runs for 2 years, renewable, on a 48-hour week schedule from Monday to Friday.

Key responsibilities

• Define, with the Spare Part Team Leader, the list of main equipment for which spare parts dossiers will be established.
• Define mechanical spare parts for maintenance and operation, and codify spare parts in SAP.
• Verify commissioning and start-up, and draw up capital spare parts lists.
• Draw up optimized spare parts lists and recover recommended spare parts lists from suppliers, vendors or manufacturers via Company SPL forms linked to purchase orders.
• Analyze spare parts lists for purchased equipment and packages, and liaise with vendors, suppliers, manufacturers, EPC contractors and the company to clarify and consolidate the information.
• Draft templates for material masters.

Required profile

• B.Sc. in Mechanical, Instrumentation or Electrical Engineering.
• 5 to 10 years of experience in maintenance for oil and gas production installations.
• Ability to work in a multinational team and in a client-service orientation.
• Responsibility, effective communication and the ability to represent the company and team professionally with clients.
• Full professional proficiency in English and French (spoken, read and written).
