HVAC Technician

About the role

The HVAC Technician will ensure the proper operation of heating, ventilation, air‑conditioning, and refrigeration systems at the Sheraton property in Sharjah. This position involves daily inspections, maintenance, and troubleshooting to maintain guest comfort and energy efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect, repair, and maintain HVAC, air‑quality control, and refrigeration equipment.
• Conduct daily inspections of the mechanical plant and monitor property temperature.
• Calibrate controls, gauges, meters and perform electrical system installation and testing.
• Assemble, install, and maintain pipe assemblies, fittings, and valves.
• Perform routine pool and spa maintenance and monitor energy and utilities usage.

Required profile

• Technical, trade or vocational school degree.
• At least 3 years of relevant HVAC experience.
• EPA Universal Certification, HVAC Certification and a valid driver’s license.

Required skills

• Inspection, repair and maintenance of HVAC and refrigeration systems.
• Calibration of controls, gauges and meters.
• Electrical wiring installation and testing.
• Pipe assembly, fitting and valve maintenance.
• Pool and spa equipment upkeep.
