ICT Pre‑Sales Engineer

About the role

We are seeking an experienced ICT Pre‑Sales Engineer to design and propose technology solutions for our clients. The role involves translating customer requirements into technical designs, preparing proposals and supporting the sales process.

Key responsibilities

• Understand client requirements and recommend suitable ICT solutions covering networking, cybersecurity, data centres, cloud and enterprise technologies.
• Prepare technical proposals, BOQs, BOMs, RFP/RFQ responses and solution documentation.
• Conduct site surveys, gather technical requirements and create solution designs, diagrams and architecture.
• Deliver technical presentations, product demonstrations and proof‑of‑concepts for clients.
• Coordinate with sales, vendors, project and implementation teams to ensure feasible and commercially viable solutions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Networking, Engineering or a related field.
• 3–6 years of experience in ICT/IT pre‑sales or solutions engineering.
• Experience working with system integrators or technology solution providers, preferably in the UAE.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of networking, routing, switching and firewalls.
• Experience with Cisco, Fortinet, Palo Alto, Aruba, HPE, Dell, VMware, Microsoft, Azure and AWS technologies.
• Hands‑on experience preparing BOQs/BOMs, RFP/RFQ responses and technical proposals.
• Good understanding of data centre and cloud infrastructure solutions.
