About the role
The International Community Schools are seeking a dedicated Computing Teacher for the 2026/27 academic year at Al Maharat Private School. This full‑time position will deliver the UK‑IGCSE Computing curriculum to high/secondary school students.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver engaging Computing lessons aligned with the UK‑IGCSE syllabus.
- Develop lesson plans, assessments and learning materials catering to diverse student needs.
- Monitor student progress, provide feedback and support digital literacy development.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Computer Science, IT or a related field.
- Minimum three years of teaching experience in Computing at secondary/high school level.
- Strong knowledge of the UK IGCSE Computing syllabus and ability to foster critical thinking.
Required skills
- Proficiency in programming languages and current computing technologies.
- Excellent classroom management and ability to engage students effectively.
