Implementation Specialist - Network & Security

About the role

An experienced Implementation Specialist in Network & Security is sought to join a technology team in Dubai, UAE. The role is highly hands-on and focuses on designing, implementing and troubleshooting complex enterprise networking and security solutions, with Cisco Networking as a core requirement alongside strong exposure to leading security technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Design, configure and implement enterprise network and network security solutions across campus, data centre and WAN environments.
• Lead implementations from design through deployment and handover.
• Implement Cisco ACI, SD-Access, SD-WAN and DNA Assurance solutions.
• Deploy and manage Cisco technologies including Catalyst, Nexus, FTD, ISE and Umbrella/SASE.
• Implement security solutions such as firewalls, VPN, IPS, NAC, proxy, WAF and secure remote access.
• Configure and support multi-vendor security platforms, especially Fortinet, Palo Alto and Check Point.
• Produce technical documentation, including HLDs and LLDs.
• Troubleshoot complex network and security issues and support customers, project teams and stakeholders.

Required profile

• CCNP, CCIE, PCNSE or NSE certification.
• 5+ years of experience in network and security implementation.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT or a related discipline.
• Strong troubleshooting, documentation and customer-facing skills.

Required skills

• Cisco enterprise networking and strong hands-on experience with Catalyst, Nexus and ACI.
• Routing protocols: TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF and EIGRP.
• Cisco security, ideally FTD, ISE and Umbrella/SASE.
• At least one of Fortinet, Palo Alto or Check Point.
• SD-Access, SD-WAN and DNA Assurance.
• Public cloud networking and cloud-native security.
