Income Auditor

About the role

Avani is looking for a detail‑oriented Income Auditor to join its finance team at the Avani Ibn Battuta Dubai Hotel. In this role you will ensure the accuracy and integrity of the hotel’s revenue data across all departments.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and distribute daily financial reports with accuracy and timeliness.
• Review and verify night audit functions, making necessary corrections.
• Upload and reconcile daily revenue from rooms, F&B, SPA, and other activities.
• Analyze income streams, room status reports and key performance indicators.
• Maintain security deposit reports and conduct surprise cash counts and POS audits.
• Support outlet and POS teams with financial inquiries and resolve issues.
• Identify discrepancies, implement corrective actions and ensure proper revenue recognition.
• Stay updated on company policies, industry standards and best practices in income auditing.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field (Master’s a plus).
• 2‑3 years of income auditing experience, preferably in hospitality.
• Strong knowledge of auditing principles and financial reporting.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and organizational skills.
• High integrity when handling confidential information.
• Effective written and verbal communication in English.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Excel and other spreadsheet applications.
• Experience using property management systems and financial software.
