Industrial Hygiene Team Lead

About the role

The Industrial Hygiene Team Lead will head the IH business development and service delivery across the Middle East, Caspian and Africa region for Bureau Veritas. The role combines strategic growth, tender management, team leadership and technical authority to ensure high‑quality industrial hygiene solutions for oil, gas, petrochemical and energy clients.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and oversee IH business development across the Middle East, Caspian and Africa region, including market expansion and client relationship management.
• Collaborate with regional management on IH service tender preparation, both technical and commercial aspects.
• Mentor, supervise and coordinate the IH team in delivering desktop and onsite projects.
• Facilitate OHID workshops for clients and internal stakeholders.
• Act as the technical authority, reviewing and approving reports, exposure assessments, monitoring plans and risk assessments.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of experience leading industrial hygiene services in the oil, gas, petrochemical or energy sectors.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Occupational Health, Industrial Hygiene or a related field.
• Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH®) or Certified Occupational Hygienist (UK, BOHS) required.
