Information Systems Specialist – Branch IT Support

About the role

The Information Systems Specialist will provide on‑site IT support for a branch office, ensuring that employees can work efficiently with reliable hardware, software, and network services. You will act as the first point of contact for incidents, perform system maintenance, and help improve security and availability.

Key responsibilities

• Handle end‑user incidents via ticketing system, phone, or walk‑in support.
• Provide basic Windows Server and Unix administration.
• Install and configure hardware such as PCs, servers, laptops, printers, and warehouse devices (scanners, tablets, automation equipment).
• Diagnose and resolve LAN, WAN, and Wi‑Fi network issues.
• Coach users on tools, applications, and self‑service IT processes.
• Perform daily backup checks and ensure documentation in the monitoring portal.
• Deliver Tier 1 and Tier 2 support for infrastructure and technology services.
• Manage disaster‑recovery and high‑availability plans.
• Oversee IT budgeting, procurement, and vendor relationships.
• Enhance cyber‑security measures and access controls.
• Monitor system downtime and resource utilization.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or 2‑3 years of relevant IT experience.
• UAE driving licence is mandatory.
• Strong English communication skills.
• Customer‑service orientation with a proactive, solution‑focused attitude.
