Infrastructure Estimation Engineer (Stormwater Drainage & Piping)

About the role

An experienced Infrastructure Estimation Engineer is sought, specializing in earthwork with particular expertise in stormwater drainage and piping networks. The role requires a solid technical understanding of infrastructure and civil construction works.

Key responsibilities

• Review tender drawings, specifications and BOQs to identify the full scope of work.
• Perform accurate quantity take-offs and prepare detailed cost estimates and rate analyses.
• Assess material, labour, equipment and subcontractor costs; obtain and evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotations.
• Identify scope gaps, technical discrepancies, exclusions and pricing risks.
• Prepare complete, competitive technical and commercial tender submissions.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Infrastructure Engineering or a related field.
• 5-6 years of relevant experience as an Infrastructure Estimation Engineer.
• Strong experience in quantity take-offs, BOQs, rate analysis, cost estimation and tender pricing.
• Experience in stormwater drainage and piping networks and related infrastructure works.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications and tender documents.
• Good understanding of construction materials, methods, manpower, equipment and productivity.
• Experience coordinating with suppliers and subcontractors on quotations and pricing.
• Strong analytical, numerical and problem-solving skills; UAE experience, especially in Abu Dhabi, is preferred.

Required skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Excel.
• Knowledge of estimation/QS software is an advantage.
