Inpatient Pharmacist (UAE National) – Abu Dhabi

About the role

We are hiring an Inpatient Pharmacist for a leading hospital in Abu Dhabi. The pharmacist will review, dispense, and monitor medications for inpatients, ensuring patient safety and adherence to clinical guidelines while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.

Key responsibilities

• Dispense and manage medications for inpatients according to hospital policies.
• Review prescriptions for accuracy, safety, and potential drug interactions.
• Provide clinical recommendations to physicians and nursing staff.
• Participate in medication therapy management, ward rounds, and case discussions.
• Ensure compliance with hospital, DOH/DHA/MOH, and safety standards.
• Maintain accurate pharmacy records and documentation.
• Educate staff and patients on medication use and safety.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Pharmacy.
• Minimum 2–5 years of inpatient hospital pharmacy experience.
• Valid DOH/DHA/MOH pharmacy license.
