Installation Manager

About the role

An experienced and results-driven Installation Manager is sought to oversee installation projects from planning to completion. The role covers coordinating installation teams, managing project schedules, ensuring quality standards and delivering projects safely, efficiently and within budget. It calls for strong leadership, technical knowledge and project management capability.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and oversee all installation activities and projects
• Manage installation teams, subcontractors and external service providers
• Develop project schedules, allocate resources and monitor progress to ensure timely completion
• Ensure installations meet technical specifications, quality standards and client requirements
• Monitor project costs, budgets, materials and equipment utilization
• Conduct site inspections and resolve technical or operational issues
• Ensure compliance with company safety procedures and industry best practices
• Coordinate with clients, suppliers, engineers, contractors and internal departments
• Prepare installation reports, project updates and documentation
• Manage quality checks, testing, commissioning and project handovers
• Identify operational improvements and lead, train and develop installation personnel

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Engineering, Construction Management or a related field; equivalent practical experience is acceptable
• Proven experience in installation management, project management or a similar technical leadership role
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, teams and deadlines
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, leadership, planning, problem-solving and organizational skills

Required skills

• Technical knowledge of installation processes, equipment and project execution
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications and project documentation
• Understanding of quality control, workplace safety and risk management
• Proficiency in project management tools and Microsoft Office applications
