Instrument Technician – Oil & Gas

About the role

A leading oil and gas project in the United Arab Emirates is seeking an Instrument Technician to support instrumentation operations and maintenance. The role involves hands‑on work with field equipment, ensuring reliable performance while adhering to HSE standards.

Key responsibilities

• Install, maintain, calibrate, troubleshoot, and repair instrumentation equipment used in oil and gas operations.
• Perform inspections and maintenance activities on field instruments to ensure reliable system performance.
• Support safe and efficient operations by following HSE procedures and industry standards.

Required profile

• Relevant technical or industrial qualification with experience as an Instrument Technician in the oil and gas sector.
• Preferably experience in drilling or drilling rig environments.
• Good knowledge of HSE requirements and safe working practices.
• Currently based in the UAE preferred.

Required skills

• Instrumentation installation, maintenance, calibration, troubleshooting and repair.
• Experience with transmitters, control valves, and pressure, temperature, flow and level instruments.
