Insurance Executive – Property Underwriting (Dubai)

About the role

We are looking for a dynamic Insurance Executive to join our Property & Energy Underwriting Division in Dubai. The role involves underwriting property risks, preparing quotations and supporting reinsurance placements, offering a solid foundation for a long‑term career in a leading regional insurer.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in underwriting property risks in line with company guidelines.
• Review and analyse risk submissions, underwriting information, surveys and claims experience.
• Prepare quotations, endorsements and renewal terms.
• Coordinate with brokers, clients, reinsurers and internal departments to ensure smooth account servicing.
• Support facultative reinsurance placements and underwriting referrals.
• Maintain underwriting records and ensure compliance with regulatory and internal requirements.
• Assist in portfolio monitoring and renewal management initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in insurance, risk management or a related discipline.
• 2–5 years of experience in general insurance, preferably property underwriting, with UAE or regional exposure preferred.
• Strong understanding of commercial and industrial property risks.
• Excellent communication, analytical and negotiation abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Professional qualifications such as ACII, Cert CII or progress towards insurance certifications are an advantage.
