Integration Consultant – Healthcare Interoperability

About the role

PureCS, a PureHealth Group company, is seeking an experienced Integration Consultant to design and support healthcare interoperability solutions using Intersystems IRIS and HealthShare. The role focuses on enabling secure data exchange across multiple clinical systems.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, configure and support integration solutions on Intersystems IRIS and HealthShare.
• Create and maintain interoperability workflows using HL7, FHIR, CDA and IHE standards.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, vendors and technical teams to deliver high‑quality integrations.
• Troubleshoot issues, perform root‑cause analysis and provide production support.
• Ensure compliance with security, data governance and regulatory standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Healthcare Informatics or related field.
• 8‑12 years of healthcare IT experience with a focus on integration and interoperability.
• Hands‑on experience with Intersystems IRIS, HealthShare and related scripting languages.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.

Required skills

• Intersystems IRIS Platform and HealthShare configuration and customization.
• Healthcare standards: HL7, FHIR, CDA, IHE Profiles.
• Integration technologies: SAML, OAuth2, SOAP, REST, XML, JSON.
• Scripting: Intersystems Cache/ObjectScript, JavaScript.
• SQL development and database troubleshooting.
