Intelligent Optimization Lead

About the role

Microsoft’s Frontier Transformation team is looking for an Intelligent Optimization Lead to embed AI‑driven improvements into customer operations. The role will establish a continuous optimization rhythm that turns AI deployments into lasting business value.

Key responsibilities

• Design, launch and sustain the Intelligent Optimization Framework as an always‑on, kaizen‑based operating rhythm.
• Redesign and rerun customer workflows to achieve measurable outcomes, feeding each measurement cycle into the next.
• Address the “last‑mile” challenge by embedding new ways of working into standard processes, clear ownership structures and execution cadences.
• Facilitate cross‑functional collaboration with business owners, operators, champions and the Value, Skilling, Change and Engineering leads.
• Transition the optimization practice to a customer counterpart who will own the improvement rhythm after the engagement.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading AI or digital transformation initiatives at scale.
• Strong facilitation and change‑management skills, with a Kaizen mindset.
• Ability to interpret measurement signals and translate them into continuous improvement cycles.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management capabilities.
