Intensive Care Consultant

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Intensive Care Consultant to join our leading healthcare facility in the UAE, providing expert care to critically ill patients and leading clinical decision‑making in the ICU.

Key responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose and manage critically ill patients in the ICU.
• Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans for life‑threatening conditions.
• Manage respiratory failure, sepsis, shock and multi‑organ dysfunction.
• Oversee ventilator management, hemodynamic monitoring and other critical care interventions.
• Lead emergency resuscitation and stabilization efforts.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Supervise and guide junior doctors and clinical staff.
• Maintain accurate patient records and uphold high standards of patient safety.

Required profile

• MBBS or equivalent medical degree.
• Postgraduate qualification in Intensive Care Medicine, Critical Care Medicine or Anesthesiology with appropriate training.
• Significant post‑specialisation experience in intensive care at Consultant level.
• Strong clinical leadership, decision‑making and communication skills.
