Internal Audit Manager

About the role

The Internal Audit Manager will lead risk‑based internal audits, advisory assignments and investigations, ensuring robust governance and control frameworks across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, execute and report on internal audits, advisory projects and investigations from start to finish.
• Assess governance, risk management and internal control effectiveness, identifying gaps and improvement opportunities.
• Develop audit plans, risk assessments and strategies aligned with business priorities and emerging risks.
• Monitor remediation actions, prepare audit reports for senior management and ensure compliance with internal audit standards.
• Drive the use of data analytics, automation and technology‑enabled auditing techniques to improve coverage and efficiency.
• Manage audit teams, outsourced providers and key stakeholders while providing independent advice on risk, controls and process improvements.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Engineering or a related discipline.
• Professional certification such as CIA, CPA, CRMA, CA, ACCA, CMA or equivalent.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in Internal Audit, Risk Advisory or Assurance functions, including audit leadership experience.
• Experience in Big Four firms, large corporate groups, holding companies or diversified organisations preferred.
• Experience in aviation, ground handling, cargo or related industries is an advantage.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of risk‑based auditing, governance, internal controls, COSO framework and IIA Internal Audit Standards.
• Proficiency in Power BI, SAP/ERP systems, audit management tools, data analytics and automation technologies.
