Internal Audit Manager (UAE National Only)

About the role

The Internal Audit Manager will support the Head of Internal Audit in delivering audit services across Emirates Islamic. The role focuses on Financial Crime Compliance, Retail Banking and Banking Operations, conducting business process audits, project assignments and ad‑hoc reviews under supervision.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and deliver audit services that improve the control environment and protect the group’s financial position.
• Ensure audit findings are addressed promptly and add measurable value to the business.
• Keep the Internal Audit function contemporary and innovative to drive efficiency and quality.
• Maintain professional relationships with business stakeholders and ensure audit documentation complies with the Audit Manual and standards.
• Support observations with factual evidence and obtain management agreement.
• Participate in strategic initiatives, innovation programs and staff engagement activities.

Required profile

• Recognized professional accounting qualification.
• Banking or financial services audit experience (preferred).
• Strong knowledge of banking products, processes and activities.
• Good understanding of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and Basel regulatory requirements.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
