Internal Auditor – Emiratisation (UAE National)

About the role

Rakbank is seeking a motivated UAE National to join its Group Internal Audit team. This position offers the chance to develop expertise in risk‑based auditing, governance, compliance and operational excellence within a leading UAE financial institution.

Key responsibilities

• Support the execution of the annual risk‑based audit plan across various functions and departments.
• Conduct audit reviews, assess risks, identify control gaps and recommend practical improvements.
• Assist in audit planning activities, including risk assessments, audit programmes and engagement scoping.
• Prepare audit reports and present findings, recommendations and action plans to stakeholders.
• Leverage data analytics and auditing tools to enhance audit efficiency and insights.
• Partner with business and support functions to promote a strong risk and control culture.
• Stay current with regulatory requirements, industry standards and emerging risks affecting the banking sector.

Required profile

• UAE National with Family Book.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or a related discipline.
• Professional certifications such as CIA, ACCA, ACA, CPA, CISA, CFA, FRM, CRMA are an advantage.
• 3‑5 years of experience in Internal Audit, Risk Management, Compliance or a related function, preferably within banking or financial services.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, communication and stakeholder‑management abilities.
• Ability to interpret complex information, identify risks and provide practical recommendations.
