Internal Auditor – Gold & Precious Metals Trading

About the role

We are seeking a qualified Internal Auditor to join our gold and precious metals trading company in Dubai. The role involves reviewing internal controls, ensuring compliance with UAE regulations and AML/CFT requirements, and supporting risk management across trading, finance, and operational functions.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct internal audits across trading, finance, inventory, and compliance functions.
• Review and monitor AML/KYC procedures, source of funds, and source of gold documentation.
• Ensure compliance with UAE laws, DMCC regulations, and internal policies.
• Identify financial, operational, and compliance risks and recommend corrective actions.
• Prepare internal audit reports and present findings to management.
• Support external audits, bank reviews, and regulatory inspections.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum 3–7 years experience in internal audit, compliance, or risk.
• Experience in gold trading, commodities, or financial services preferred.
• Strong knowledge of AML/CFT frameworks and UAE regulatory requirements.
• Professional certifications (CIA, ACCA, CPA, CAMS) are an advantage.
• Strong analytical, reporting, and communication skills.
