Internal Auditor – Sharjah

About the role

The Internal Auditor will conduct audit reviews across Air Arabia Group’s operations, evaluate internal controls and recommend improvements to protect the company’s interests. This role requires strong knowledge of audit standards, risk management and the airline industry.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in developing risk‑based annual audit plans.
• Perform operational, financial, compliance and IT audits in line with IIA standards.
• Prepare audit programs, conduct fieldwork and document findings.
• Identify control weaknesses and propose value‑added improvements.
• Evaluate compliance with civil aviation regulations and corporate governance frameworks.
• Draft audit reports with risk ratings and recommendations, and follow up on corrective actions.
• Provide advisory services on process enhancements and participate in system implementation reviews.

Required profile

• Qualified Chartered Accountant (CPA, ACCA) with 4‑5 years of internal audit experience, preferably in aviation.
• Professional certification such as CIA is highly desirable.
• Advanced English proficiency; Arabic is a plus.
• Strong analytical, business writing and reporting abilities.
