Internal Auditor (UAE National) – Dubai

About the role

D1 Management is looking for an experienced Internal Auditor who is an UAE national to join its Dubai office. The role focuses on evaluating internal controls, assessing risks, and ensuring compliance across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, execute and report on risk‑based internal audits covering financial, operational and compliance areas.
• Develop and maintain Risk and Control Matrices, audit programs and working papers.
• Identify control deficiencies and recommend corrective actions.
• Prepare detailed audit reports and present findings to management.
• Conduct follow‑up audits to verify implementation of corrective measures.
• Support the annual risk‑based audit plan and investigate irregularities as needed.

Required profile

• UAE nationality (mandatory).
• Minimum 5 years of experience as an Internal Auditor.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Auditing or related field.
• Familiarity with IIA Global Internal Audit Standards, COSO framework and UAE regulations.
• Professional certifications (CIA, CPA, ACCA) are highly desirable.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
• Hands‑on experience with audit management systems, ERP platforms and data‑analytics tools.
• Ability to prepare Risk and Control Matrices and audit working papers.
