Internal Auditor (UAE National)

About the role

The Internal Auditor will conduct independent, risk‑based audits across Corporate, Retail, Treasury, Credit and Risk functions, ensuring compliance with UAE Central Bank regulations and global best practices.

Key responsibilities

• Identify weaknesses in processes related to Corporate, Retail, Treasury & Risk Management and recommend improvements.
• Prepare audit terms of reference, test programs, working papers and final audit reports in line with IIA standards.
• Monitor implementation of audit recommendations and follow‑up with stakeholders.
• Participate in special assignments and maintain productive relationships with all relevant stakeholders while preserving independence.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics.
• Minimum 3 years of banking experience, including at least 1 year in audit within the banking sector.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Arabic.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with Audit Management Software.
• Knowledge of local banking laws, regulations and standards.
• Familiarity with IIA audit standards and internal audit policies.
