About the role
Capitalcom is a leading trading platform expanding globally and seeks an International Brand Director to safeguard and elevate its brand across high‑trust environments. You will act as the final authority on brand language, tone and narrative while balancing growth pressures with disciplined brand governance.
Key responsibilities
- Own the Brand Language OS and brand operating rules, approving all tone, language and narrative decisions.
- Prevent brand drift into hype or promotional fintech language and say no to growth‑driven pressure that compromises brand discipline.
- Lead and govern global agencies, translating brand strategy into executable systems and ensuring consistency without over‑localisation.
- Control scope creep and creative reinvention across markets.
- Collaborate closely with Product, PR, Performance, CRM and Compliance to align product language, PR narratives and performance copy.
- Maintain brand presence in premium contexts (airports, inflight, FT, institutional media) and ensure brand behaviour meets regulated, long‑term credibility standards.
Required profile
- 10+ years in senior brand leadership roles.
- Proven experience in regulated or high‑trust industries, preferably financial services, payments or infrastructure.
- Background working with brand systems (e.g., Landor, Interbrand, Wolff Olins) or major agency networks.
- Demonstrated ability to govern large agencies and scale brand across multiple international markets.
- Strong personal authority to challenge senior stakeholders when brand discipline is at risk.
- Exposure to PR, product language and brand governance beyond pure advertising.
