Inventory Control & Logistics Officer – Dental Manufacturing

About the role

The Inventory Control / Logistics Officer will manage inventory, warehouse operations, and inbound/outbound logistics for a dental manufacturing facility in Abu Dhabi. The role ensures raw materials, spare parts, consumables and finished goods are accurately received, stored, tracked, issued and dispatched, keeping production running smoothly and customers satisfied.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain daily inventory records for raw materials, spare parts, consumables and finished goods in the ERP system.
• Conduct cycle counts, physical inventory checks and investigate discrepancies.
• Oversee warehouse storage, labeling, safety standards and layout design.
• Coordinate import shipments, documentation and work with freight forwarders.
• Collaborate with Procurement, Production, Maintenance, Quality and Finance to ensure material availability.
• Prepare inventory and logistics performance reports and drive cost‑reduction initiatives.

Required profile

• Diploma or bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, Engineering or related field.
• Experience in inventory control, warehouse or logistics operations within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong attention to detail, ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP systems (especially Odoo).
• Advanced Excel skills for reporting and analysis.
• Knowledge of inventory control, stock auditing and reconciliation.
