Investment Analyst – Valuation & Credit Specialist (Remote)

About the role

Ethos is seeking experienced investment analysts to help train a cutting‑edge language model on professional finance documents, spreadsheets, and slide decks. You will work remotely, creating and refining AI‑generated outputs for valuation, credit, and investment committee workflows.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and review discounted cash flow (DCF) models, comparable company trading analyses, and leveraged buyout (LBO) models.
• Produce credit risk memos, covenant compliance summaries, and investment committee memoranda for institutional stakeholders.
• Evaluate and improve AI‑generated documents, spreadsheets, and slide decks across core finance workflows.
• Collaborate with the AI lab to ensure high‑quality, accurate outputs that meet professional standards.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in equity research, credit analysis, or valuation advisory with direct ownership of DCF, trading comps, and LBO models.
• Deep fluency in credit risk assessment, covenant analysis, and investment committee memo writing.
• Expert‑level craftsmanship in documents, spreadsheets, and slide presentations with strong written communication.
