Investment Director – Public Private Partnerships (PPP)

About the role

The organisation is seeking an experienced Investment Director to lead the origination, development, structuring and execution of major public‑private partnership (PPP) and concession projects across the UAE and the wider region. Reporting to the executive leadership team, the role combines deep infrastructure investment expertise with strong commercial acumen.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the sourcing, evaluation and execution of complex PPP, concession and infrastructure investment opportunities.
• Manage transactions from initial screening through development, procurement, negotiation and financial close.
• Conduct commercial negotiations with government authorities, sponsors, investors, lenders and consortium partners.
• Structure commercially viable solutions across transport, utilities, energy, social infrastructure and real‑estate projects.
• Oversee financial modelling, valuation analysis, investment committee papers and transaction documentation.
• Drive bid strategies and lead commercial aspects of PPP tenders and unsolicited proposals.
• Coordinate technical, financial, legal and commercial advisors throughout each transaction.
• Lead due‑diligence activities and manage transaction risks.
• Build relationships with developers, contractors, institutional investors, banks and strategic partners.
• Support fundraising initiatives and financing strategies with lenders and equity partners.
• Provide leadership, mentoring and direction to investment professionals.

Required profile

• Significant experience in infrastructure investment, PPP, project finance or concessions.
• Strong sector background in at least one of: transport, rail, roads, utilities, energy, social infrastructure, airports, ports or logistics.
• Experience with an infrastructure developer, concessionaire, investment platform or fund.
• Proven track record of leading investment or transaction teams.
