iOS Developer

About the role

Synechron is seeking an experienced iOS Developer to join its banking and financial services team in Abu Dhabi. You will design, build, and maintain enterprise‑grade mobile applications that enable secure digital banking experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test and deploy native iOS applications using Swift, Objective‑C, UIKit and SwiftUI.
• Implement banking features such as account management, payments, transfers and digital onboarding.
• Integrate RESTful APIs, third‑party SDKs and backend services while ensuring security controls.
• Optimize performance, memory usage and scalability; troubleshoot production issues.
• Collaborate with product owners, architects, UI/UX designers and backend teams throughout the SDLC.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
• 7+ years of hands‑on experience developing native iOS applications.
• Strong knowledge of mobile security standards, encryption, SSL pinning, Keychain and OAuth 2.0.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Required skills

• Swift, Objective‑C, iOS SDK, UIKit, SwiftUI.
• Architectural patterns: MVVM, MVC, VIPER, Clean Architecture.
• REST APIs, JSON integration.
• Core Data, UserDefaults for local storage.
• Git, CI/CD pipelines, App Store deployment.
• Debugging, performance tuning, memory management.
