Islamic Teacher for Non‑Arab Students (Cycle 1 & 2)

About the role

International Community Schools (ICS) at the Al Falah City campus is seeking an inspiring Islamic Teacher for non‑Arab students in Cycle 1 (KG2‑Grade 2) and Cycle 2 (Grade 3‑Grade 5). The role involves delivering Islamic Studies within an American curriculum framework.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging Islamic Studies lessons for non‑Arabic speaking students.
• Integrate Islamic content with the American curriculum (Common Core/US Standards).
• Assess student progress using formative and summative methods.
• Maintain a positive, disciplined classroom environment and provide pastoral care.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Islamic Studies, Sharia, Quranic Sciences or related field.
• Recognised teaching qualification (B.Ed, PGCE or equivalent) attested and equivalised in the UAE.
• Minimum 2‑3 years full‑time teaching experience with non‑Arab students, preferably in an American curriculum school.
• IELTS score of 5.5 or higher.
• Eligibility for an ADEK Teacher License and required UAE background checks.

• Strong written and verbal communication in English.
