About the role

International Community Schools (ICS) at the Al Falah City campus is seeking an inspiring Islamic Teacher for Non‑Arab students to deliver Islamic Studies to Cycle 1 and Cycle 2 learners, supporting spiritual growth and cultural understanding within an American curriculum framework.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver engaging Islamic Studies lessons to Cycle 1 (KG2‑Grade 2) and Cycle 2 (Grade 3‑Grade 5) students.
• Integrate Islamic content seamlessly with the American curriculum (Common Core/US Standards).
• Promote spiritual development and cultural awareness among a diverse student body.
• Assess student progress using formative and summative assessment strategies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Islamic Studies, Sharia, Quranic Sciences or a related field.
• Recognised teaching qualification (B.Ed, PGCE or equivalent).
• UAE MOFA attestation and Ministry of Education equivalency for foreign degrees.
• IELTS score of 5.5 or higher.
• 2‑3 years of full‑time teaching experience in Islamic Studies for non‑Arab students.
• Experience teaching within an American curriculum school (Common Core/US Standards).
• Eligibility for an ADEK teacher licence and compliance with ADEK regulations.
• Recent police clearance and medical fitness certificate as required by UAE law.

Required skills

• Proficiency in educational technology and digital learning resources.
• Knowledge of Common Core/US Standards and their application in lesson planning.
