IT Asset Management Manager

About the role

Inception42, a G42 company, seeks an experienced IT Asset Management Manager to own the full lifecycle of hardware and software assets, vendor relationships and technology contracts. You will work closely with Finance, Procurement and service owners to ensure compliance, cost control and governance.

Key responsibilities

• Manage IT assets from procurement through disposal, maintaining accurate inventories and licensing records.
• Implement and audit asset policies, standards and procedures to ensure compliance.
• Coordinate vendor contracts, service level agreements and renewal negotiations.
• Validate vendor invoices, monitor expenses and contribute to budget planning.
• Produce ITSM, asset utilisation and operational reports, analysing trends for improvement.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Business Administration or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in IT asset and vendor management.
• Proven experience managing contracts, licensing agreements and vendor SLAs.
• Strong organisational, analytical and stakeholder coordination skills.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with ITSM platforms.
• Experience using asset management systems.
• Knowledge of ITIL frameworks (ITIL preferred).
