IT Manager – Dubai

About the role

We are seeking an experienced IT Manager to lead and oversee our IT infrastructure and operations in Dubai. The role involves planning, implementing, and optimizing servers, networks, storage, and virtualization environments while ensuring high availability and security.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and oversee the organization’s IT infrastructure, systems, and operations.
• Plan, implement, maintain, and optimize servers, networks, storage systems, and virtualization environments.
• Manage backup, disaster recovery, business continuity, and system recovery solutions.
• Monitor performance, availability, and capacity, proactively resolving technical issues.
• Administer Microsoft‑based environments including Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and Windows Server.
• Ensure network security, access management, cybersecurity controls, and IT risk management.
• Implement controls to protect systems, data, applications, and infrastructure.
• Manage user access, permissions, authentication, and security policies.
• Provide technical leadership to IT teams and end users.
• Develop and maintain infrastructure standards, procedures, documentation, and operational processes.
• Coordinate with vendors, service providers, technology partners, and external consultants.
• Manage vendor relationships, contracts, licensing, warranties, renewals, and asset management.
• Identify opportunities to improve reliability, efficiency, performance, security, and cost‑effectiveness.
• Lead infrastructure projects, system upgrades, migrations, and technology initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies, security standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare and maintain performance metrics, incident reports, and management updates.
• Support budgeting, technology planning, resource allocation, and investment decisions.
• Maintain high availability and continuity of critical IT services while minimizing disruptions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years of professional experience in IT infrastructure, systems, and operations.
• Strong hands‑on experience managing servers, networks, storage, backup, disaster recovery, and virtualization technologies.
• Deep knowledge of Microsoft technologies, especially Active Directory and Microsoft 365.
• Experience in network security, cybersecurity, and access management.
