IT Officer

About the role

Cloud Spaces is seeking an IT Officer to maintain and optimise its IT infrastructure across modern workspaces. The role involves providing technical support to staff and clients, ensuring network security, and managing hardware and software upgrades to keep operations running smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and optimise computers, servers, printers and security software.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software and network issues and resolve tickets promptly.
• Implement and monitor backup processes, ensuring reliable data storage and recovery.
• Install, configure and maintain network equipment, servers and applications.
• Manage security programmes, including antivirus, anti‑spyware and password policies.
• Provide desktop support in person, by phone or via remote desktop.
• Set up user accounts, manage profiles and handle password‑related requests.
• Document technical procedures and liaise with external vendors.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT or a related field.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in IT support or a similar technical role.
• Experience with help‑desk environments and ticketing systems.
• Strong customer‑service orientation and ability to manage multiple cases.
