IT Officer

About the role

Cloud Spaces is seeking an IT Officer to maintain and optimise its IT infrastructure. You will ensure smooth operations for staff and clients by providing technical support, managing network security, and overseeing data backup and recovery.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and optimise servers, PCs, printers and security software.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software and network issues.
• Implement and manage backup processes for reliable data storage.
• Install, configure and maintain networks, servers and applications.
• Manage security programmes, including antivirus, spyware protection and password policies.
• Provide desktop support in person, by phone or via remote desktop.
• Set up user accounts, manage profiles and resolve password issues.
• Prioritise multiple IT cases and meet agreed response times.
• Conduct electrical safety checks on equipment.
• Maintain technical documentation and liaise with external vendors.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT or a related field.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in IT support or a similar technical role.
• Experience with help‑desk support and ticketing systems is preferred.
