Junior Accountant – Group Accounts Payable

About the role

Emirates Group is seeking a Junior Accountant to support its Group Accounts Payable Services in Dubai. The role involves processing financial entries, invoices and payments while ensuring accurate and timely reporting within a fast‑paced, multicultural aviation environment.

Key responsibilities

• Generate financial entries, invoices and process incentive, ORC and refund payments.
• Resolve proration, tax and revenue accounting exceptions and respond to disputes.
• Reconcile control accounts, clear nominals and perform customer account reconciliations.
• Audit documents, identify discrepancies, raise under‑collections and update master data in the accounting system.
• Assist the supervisor with pre‑ and post‑closing activities and ad‑hoc accounting assignments.
• Provide information and answers to internal and external customers, escalating settlement delays when required.

Required profile

• 10 years of schooling or equivalent finance background.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Strong analytical and investigative abilities.
• Ability to multitask in a dynamic environment.
